Eric Matheson, a Canadian physiotherapist, was inspired by a patient who, having learned how to self-correct, gave him this note:

The Laughing Sea

 

 

Dancing to the music

Of a laughing sea

A restless instinct for freedom is roused

As creative abandon inspires

Renewed trust in its cause

 

Through receptive hands

This vexed petition

Long kept at bay

Finds safe passage

Its voyage has at last begun

 

I will dance

Dance to the music

Of the laughing Sea
